This page explains what happens to your information when you submit interest via SpaceScout's holding page.
Who we are
SpaceScout is being built by Syntheon Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17182252). Registered office: 3 Wellington Court, Wellington Street, Cambridge CB1 1HZ. Contact: hello@spacescout.co.uk.
For UK GDPR purposes, Syntheon Ltd is the data controller for the information you submit.
What we collect
When you submit the form, we collect:
- Your email address
- Anything you write in the optional feedback field
The feedback field is optional. You don't need to fill it in to submit your email.
Why we collect it
We use this information to contact you about trying SpaceScout, to understand what kinds of venues are interested, and to learn what people most want from it. Our legal basis under UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f) is legitimate interest: you've asked to hear back about a product being built, and replying is what you've asked for.
Who has access
Only Syntheon Ltd. Your submission is stored in our Supabase database, hosted in London (eu-west-2). We reply to you from a regular email account. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
If we haven't been in touch with you about SpaceScout for twelve months, we delete your information. You can also ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Have it corrected if it's wrong
- Have it deleted
- Object to how we use it
- Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk)

Cookies
This page does not use analytics, advertising, or marketing cookies. When you submit the form, Cloudflare (which fronts our database) sets a short-lived security cookie called __cf_bm to protect against bot abuse. This is strictly necessary under PECR and doesn't require consent.

If this policy changes, the updated version will appear on this page.
